Effective April 1, 2024, the per kWh rates below will increase by $0.005. This is due to a rate increase from our power supplier. Monthly availability charges will not change.
As your local electric cooperative, we serve you as a not-for-profit, member-owned utility. We strive every day to provide high-quality, reliable and safe service you have come to expect over the past 85 years.
Families and businesses across the US have been dealing with significantly higher inflation and costs. Your electric co-op has not been spared from those increases. As a result, in April of this year (2023) we will be implementing a rate increase for all Pemiscot-Dunklin members.
Several factors have contributed to this necessary decision. The cost of power, provided by M&A Electric Power Cooperative, has increased on electric co-ops across the region. In addition, the cost of maintaining our reliability and service to our customers - from bucket trucks to diggers to transformers, replacement line and poles - have increased as well.
